I’m checking each day to see if there’s any sign of spring outside my door - are the tulips trying to peek thru
the snow yet? Are the bluebirds back at the feeders? I would even welcome a fly or two at this point! Anything
to bring hope that it really is going to warm up again, the sun will shine and the world will bloom.
It’s been a long, cold, snowy winter here in Kansas so I’ve been counteracting that will some spring splurges
online. I’ve ordered several beautiful shrubs and plants to be shipped to my door when the time is right to
plant for my area. I’ve also purchased a lavendar sweater with a couple coordinating t-shirts boasting dragonflys or flowers to lift my mood. If it doesn’t warm up soon, Robert is going to take away my credit card!
For now, I guess I’ll cut into the new Butterfl y Garden fabric collection and stitch up a quilt full of flowers
for a bit of spring all year round.
