May 2009
We're off to market in Pennsylvania to show our newest fabric collection, Vine Creek, along with several new quilts and a Block of the Month series entitled "Welcome to my Cabin". Check back here in June for pictures of the quilts and fabric. After market, Robert and I are taking a few days to relax at Rehoboth Beach with his dog, Gus. Then Lois joins me for a 7-day cruise to Bermuda to teach a quilting class for Jeanette Pie of Easy as Pie Designs. There are more than 70 quilters signed up to take 4 different classes from as many teachers over the course of the week. Quilting, eating, laying in the sun - it doesn't get much better than that! I'll have an update when we get back.
The new Kansas Winter fabric collection should be hitting the stores anytime now along with our 2 new project sheet - Snow Day and A Chance of Flurries. Precut strips and squares with a little raw edge applique makes quick work of seasonal quilts easy enough for the beginner and great for gifts. See the new winter projects below.
Please write with any questions or comments you may have about KTQ fabric, patterns or books. We'd love to hear from you.
Sending you sunny wishes from Bermuda ,
Lynne Hagmeier
