When our quilting group was pressed to name our
fledging business, we chose a favorite quilt block identifying our
state: Kansas Troubles. The
Kansas Troubles block represents the turmoil of the pre-Civil War
years when the territory was referred to as "Bleeding Kansas". And
I'm still into trouble as is evident by this new book.
I hope you enjoy not one,
but a dozen pieced quilts - one for each month of the year. Choose
from over two dozen projects, including quilts, pillows, table
toppers & placemats. Simply change your Troubles by altering the
size, settings or fabrics of each Kansas
Troubles block. A famous quilter once said, "Without
trouble, life would be dull, and she would be unemployed." My wish
for you is to be creative & get into lots of Trouble throughout
the year. |
