My first chapter-a-month quilt & journal was created from my interest in antique quilts & the stories of the women who made them. Kansas Oregon Quilt Connection - a quilters journal #4 continues the story with Phoebe's account of the journey over thousands of miles to an unknown land full of promise to start a new life, while leaving behind her home & loved ones. Now Lily's niece is hoping to maintain close ties to her family & friends by exchanging quilt blocks & letters with her mother Abbie, which helps to ease the loneliness of being so far from home & family. Quilt measures 82" x 96" when finished.
