Stitches on the Oregon Trail - a quilters journal #3 follows Lily's niece Phoebe & her husband Herschel as they travel the Oregon Trail from Kansas to the Pacific Coast to continue their family's quest for land & a better life. Lily's sage advice to her niece was to write in her journal & begin a quilt as therapy on the long trip. Our third chapter-a-month quilt & journal in the Quilters Journal series keeps us in touch with their joys & struggles on the journey west. Quilt measures 72" x 88" when finished & the complete set includes all three bonus pattern packets: Kansas Memories (Chap. 1-4); Oregon Trail Sampler (Chap. 5-8); & Starry Mountain Christmas (Chap. 9-12) as well as additional patterns for other quilting projects.
